Many companies have made a series of measures in order to prevent the corrosion of their own handbags and luggage hardware accessories and improve the rust resistance of the double nickel-iron-chromium combination coating. However, at the same time, the manufacturing measures should also strictly control the process and strengthen the process management .
1. The handbag hardware accessories should be polished before electroplating
After polishing, the roughness is on the surface of 3.2μm (▽ 6) after double-layer nickel-iron alloy / chromium plating. The salt spray test shows no less than 1mm2 rust point, and the roughness is on the surface of 0.8μm (▽ 8) under the same process conditions. No rust occurs afterwards, and it can be seen that the roughness required for polishing is above 0.8 μm.

2. The choice of additives for handbag hardware accessories
Regardless of whether it is a single brightener or a commercial combination of additives, it should be produced by a designated professional factory. Each batch of additives should be tested with a Hull cell first, and compared with the model to check whether the rust resistance of the sample meets the requirements before it can be put into use.

3. To control the thickness of the plating layer
Coating thickness: The thickness of the high iron layer should be greater than 18μm, and the thickness of the low iron layer should be greater than 6μm.

4. Control of metal impurities in the plating solution
The nickel-iron coating contains other metal impurities, which directly affect its rust resistance.
